Weddings
This sacred ceremony, where two individuals enter into a covenant with God and one another, creates the foundation for your marriage. We are honored to offer the Wedding Ministry for the very special occasion of holy marriage. Weddings are available for both our members and non-members of the congregation. The wedding ceremony is a worship service where the couple pledges themselves to one another in the presence of God and begins their marriage with Christ as the foundation.
Pre- Marital coaching helps couples understand and plan for healthy marriages that will glorify God. It also helps couples set reasonable expectations for each other and for married life. This is an opportunity to have conversations about their upcoming marriage and the various things that come with a lifetime partnership. (Pre-marital coaching is a requirement to be married by the pastors at St James Church.)
