The Next Movement is a Spirit-led effort to help the Church return to its foundation. The Church was birthed on the day of Pentecost. When we examine the early Church, we learn that they did some essential things, and as a result, God continued to bless them. The essentials of the Church, according to Acts 2, were devotion to the Apostles’ teachings, praying together, worshipping together, fellowshipping together, and meeting the needs of the community. It all happened in a multi-cultural and multi-generational setting. The purpose of establishing The Next Movement teams is to emulate the original Apostolic Church, which means individual spiritual growth and numerical congregational growth to build a multi-generational congregation. The Next Movement will help us connect people with God through exciting worship, compassionate outreach, and authentic faith development.
