Funerals

We consider it an honor to walk with you before, during and after the loss of a loved one. If death is imminent, please click on this link Lost a loved one, and a member from our bereavement team will contact you.

The form below allows families who have lost a loved one to share information with Funeral Coordinators, Congregational Care Leaders, staff, and volunteers. Click the button below to fill out the form.

BEREAVEMENT TEAM

The Bereavement Team Grief ministers to members of our church and their families by providing funeral guidance, meals, flowers, cards and other expressions of compassion during times of bereavement. We support members and remind them that there is still hope by helping those who are suffering sickness and disease or grieving the death of a loved one.

CARE AND NURTURE MINISTRY

The mission of the Care and Nurture Ministry is to demonstrate Christ’s love to the church and the community in practical ways, to facilitate wholeness of body, mind, spirit and relationships in a spirit of compassion and caring. In the midst of difficult times, it helps to have someone to care, to listen and to share God’s love.

We do this as we:
1) Set up and serve meals to church family members and friends of the deceased after a funeral that are held
2) Visit members in their home and extended care facilities
3) Call members
4) Offer a ride to and from church service
5) Send cards

GRIEF SHARE MINISTRY

This support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 12-13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
